
Driven by the continuous expansion of our business, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager – Used Trucks to work with one of the largest and fastest-growing transport and freight forwarding companies in South-Eastern Europe, a technological leader in the industry.
With over 30 years of experience in the Transport & Logistics industry, Discordia is an established leader, ranked among the top 20 transport companies in Europe. We have our own fleet of over 1400 trucks and forwarding services, covering all points in Europe including over 70 countries, with 40 of them in Europe, and constantly expanding our global coverage. By the end of the decade, we have the ambition to increase our own trucks up to 7000.
Sales Manager – Used Trucks
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the whole process of used trucks selling on the local and European market
- Develop short- and long-term strategies regarding the company’s selling activities of used trucks
- Build effective business relationships, anticipate and leverage potential opportunities, generate sales leads and build strategic partnerships with prospective clients
- Develop a network of local dealerships for used trucks in Europe as additional source of sales
- Prepare, present, and negotiate service and pricing proposals to prospective clients and contractors
- Provide expertise regarding technical parameters and features of the trucks
- Assist customers during the aftersales process regarding documentation and delivery of trucks
- Participates in business planning and priority setting in support to top management and Operative heads
- Interpret local and European market trends, adapting to and taking advantage of industry changes
Requirements:
- Proven experience of at least 5+ years in used trucks sales
- In-depth industry knowledge of European haulers and truck aftersales market
- Good truck technical knowledge
- Ability to successfully communicate proposals to potential partners.
- Strong entrepreneurial skills and a natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation
- Excellent command of the English language verbal and written;
- Effective interpersonal, persuasive, and conversational skills
- Strong numerical & analytical skills and attention to detail
- Driver’s license and willingness for extensive travelling
